11 Months!

Hi Everyone,


It has been a busy month for us. Especially for me, I have been very carefully learning how to walk. I took my first major fall this month. It wasn't very much fun. I tried to go down the step on to the patio. I learned that steps aren't as easy as Mommy and Daddy make them look.





It healed pretty quickly, but scared Mommy to death. I've taken a few other spills since but none have been as bad as this one.





I've been growing into my personality too. I have found my voice and love to express myself. I am saying a few words now, I like to say Dada, Mama, Isa (Lisa), and this! I like to talk and then I crack myself up!

We have been spending a lot of time at home, relaxing on the weekends and cheering on Notre Dame! I love to watch the games with Daddy and I even dance to the fight song. Let's GO Irish!

I love to read my books. Mommy and I read a least 3 every night. I really love to rip the pages of them, Daddy doesn't like that, but I do it anyway!

Mommy and Daddy have been really busy getting ready for my 1st birthday party next month. See everyone next month!

10 Months!

Wow! Can you believe it, I'm 10 months old already. I am getting bigger everyday and doing great moving around. I am crawling really fast now, sometimes I am faster than Mommy and Daddy. I am learning new things all of the time. I am getting really good at climbing the stairs, but I don't know how to go down yet. I am also walking along all of the furniture, and using my lion push toy to help me walk across the living room. I haven't quite figured out how to walk on my own yet, but Mommy doesn't want to rush it. I am not eating baby food anymore. I got a taste of real food and I'm never going back. I love to feed myself and some of my favorite foods are Mac and Cheese, waffles, and toast! I eat everything, I even like broccoli!

We had a really fun, but relaxing month at our house. Mommy and I spend the last few days together before she had to go back to work. It was great but went by WAY too fast. I got to go to school with her for a few days to see her classroom, there was so much to get in to. Now I'm back at Lisa's house during the week, but my best buddy Luke is there with me so I have a lot of fun everyday.

I am doing a lot of talking and making new noises all the time. Check out the videos below to see one of my new ones. Mommy jokes that Daddy and I have our own language. I also learned how to wave hello and bye bye. Oh well, talk to everyone next month!

9 Months!

Wow! What a busy month at our house. We did so much! Shortly after my last entry, Mommy and I flew, yep I was on an airplane, to Michigan. It was a pretty short flight, 3 hours. I was SO good, I slept, played with Mommy, looked out the window. It was really cool. I didn't cry at all. We went to see Mommy's family and Daddy's family too! I got to hang out with Aunt Beth and Uncle Patrick, we had McDonald's I loved it and got to see their new house. Then we went to Gram and Pa's house. Mommy was glad to be able to be home. I got to visit with them, Uncle Al and Courtney, my cousins Jack and Owen (they are a lot of fun) and I got to meet my Uncle Matt, he's awesome! I got to see GG Gramer, and GG and GGpa, they are Mommy's Grandparents. I got to meet a lot of Mommy's cousins and Aunts and Uncles. It was a lot of new people but they were all very nice and thought I was the cutest baby. Pa's house is a farm so I got to see the cows. I wasn't scared of them at all, they were pretty cool actually.

After a very busy, fun week at Gram and Pa's, Daddy flew in to join our family vacation. We went to Grand Rapids to see Grandma and Grandpa Adams. I also got to see Uncle Ryan, Uncle Brandon and I got to meet Uncle Jared and my soon to be Aunt Kristin. They are all great, and I had a great time. We played and went swimming in the pool (it was FREEZING!) we met a lot of Daddy's cousins and Aunts and Uncles too! They thought I was pretty cool and couldn't get enough of me. I also got to meet Daddy's grandparents, they were nice too. Then we spent the 4th of July with Daddy's friends from high school and I got to see the fireworks. I fell asleep right before they started because it doesn't get dark in Michigan until 10 o'clock, which is way past my bedtime. After another fun filled week we flew back home, and again I was awesome on the airplane.

Not only did I get to spend time at Gram's house, she came back to Florida with us. So did Mommy's Aunt Jenny. They spent 3 days at our house, our cousin Jenny George got married so they came for the wedding. We went shopping and got to see a lot more family members, some that even Mommy had never met before. We had a blast! Then Gram and Aunt Jenny had to go back to Michigan, that was a sad day!

Then things slowed down a little bit and Mommy and I got to enjoy our time together. Well I didn't quite slow down. I am offically on the move, that's right I am crawling like crazy now. I started crawling while I was in Michigan and I have just gotten faster and faster. I am pulling myself up and standing next to any and all furniture. I went from 2 teeth to 7 teeth too. I am also talking like crazy. I say all kinds of sounds like, da da, ma ma, baby, ba ba, and I scream all of the time. That drives Mommy and Daddy crazy but I'm just expressing my self.
I went for my 9 month checkup a few days ago and Mommy can't believe how big I'm getting. I was 19.5 lbs. and 30 inches long. I'm going to be a tall skinny little girl, maybe a supermodel. Well that's all for now, see you next month.

8 months

Hi Everyone,

We are doing this months blog a few days early this month because I'll be on vacation with Mommy on my 8 month birthday. We're headed to Michigan, so I know next month I'll have a lot to share with you. This month has been pretty exciting too! The first weekend was Memorial Day. We celebrated with the Polacek family. We had a cookout and went swimming in the pool with Daddy, Eric and Luke.

The week after Memorial Day Uncle Brandon came to visit us. He's pretty funny, and we had a great time.

Shortly after he left, Mommy got out of school for the summer. We are so excited to spend time together this summer. We started going to our Summer Fun group and we visited the petting farm. I got to pet a goat, sheep, pig and chicken.

Last weekend was Father's Day. We took Daddy to lunch and spent the whole day together.

I am really working on crawling now. I am pushing up off of the floor and scoot backward really well. I can even push myself up from the floor to sit now

I am learning so quickly. The other day Daddy even caught me standing up in my crib.

I love to read and be read to. Daddy and I have been doing a lot of reading together.

I'm trying to crawl but just can't figure out how to coordinate my hands and feet.

I also love to clap my hands!

7 months old!

Well, it's been another really busy month at our house. We celebrated Mommy's first Mother's Day and it was really nice. Daddy and I got her a locket so that she can always carry us with her. She loved it!

The next weekend, was my buddy Luke's first birthday! He had an awesome party, it was a Mickey Mouse party. I got to try cake for the first time, got in the "hot" tub with Daddy and had a great time meeting new friends.
















It has been really hot here in Florida, so I go swimming A Lot! Most of the time Luke and I go swimming at Lisa's house, but because I love it so much Mommy and Daddy got me a little pool for our house. It is so much fun to splash in and cool off a little bit.

I have been doing really well practicing my sitting, rolling over, and I am even working on crawling. I haven't figured out how to go forward yet but I am pushing up off the floor, and scoot backward pretty well. Mom thinks that I'll be moving in no time.

Well, that's about all for this month. Next month is going to be so much fun, we are going to Michigan to see everyone. We can't wait.

6 months!!

Hi Everyone,
What an exciting month, I had a lot of visitors and did a lot of great things. First Gram came back to visit me. We went to the beach, boy was it hot. We also got to hang out all week because I stayed with Gram while Mommy and Daddy went to work. We had a lot of fun and I loved rocking and singing with Gram. We sang, "You Are My Sunshine" and "Favorite Things". I love to be sang to. Then soon after Gram left we got ready for Easter. I went and had my picture taken with the Easter Bunny. I thought that he was pretty great, and I only cried when Mom tried to take me off his lap. I also got my 6 month pictures taken. It was my first photo shoot, except for my ones with Mom.

That weekend Grandma Adams and Uncle Ryan came to see me. I really liked Uncle Ryan, and always watched him to see what he was doing. I really loved spending time with Grandma and Uncle Ryan.

We went to church on Easter morning, I looked so cute in my Easter dress and hat. I was so good during church. Then we spent the rest of the day on the beach, I even got in the ocean with Mom and Dad. I'm still not sure how I liked it, but I didn't cry.

Later that week I went to the Dr. for my 6 month check-up. I am getting so big. He said that I am 27 inches long and 16lbs. 12 oz. I know Mommy can't believe how big I'm getting. Well that's all for this month, see everyone later.
